My First time at a Nude Beach

Going to any beach should be a comfortable experience for anyone. For me going to the beach was always an experience I loved for the feeling of the water on my body, but I always wanted to go the beach naked. Not in a weird way, but ever since I was a kid, it felt like the ocean was calling me to swim in my natural state.

As I've mentioned on my podcast, I've been a nudist/naturist since I was 13, but I didn't start exploring beaches or places to be naked until I was 23. I had just finished uni and I was experiencing boredom whilst looking for work. So I decided to try and get in touch with myself and become more adventurous, but I didn't know where to start.

There wasn't much naturist activity in my area, or at least that's what I thought. It was only after a bit of research that I found that there was a nude beach, but it was not that close. Werrong beach, located at the National Park near Oxford, NSW, Australia.

There was just one problem, I didn't have a license to drive. this may seem like a simple thing to deal with but for me, life was anything but simple. To get to the beach from where I lived, I would have needed to catch a train to Oxford Station, but the station itself is not exactly a close to the park. Also, the trek to get there is not exactly even.

It was around this time, that I was able to also find that a group for Australia Nudists that had some local members. It was one of these members who organised a trip there in which he was able to drive there, so traveling to the park was not an issue. Travelling to this beach, well...that was a different story.

When you get to the park you need to make sure that you are on the right track. Also the trek down to the beach is made up of uneven  bush tracks, some rocky areas and stairs that were in need of repair. This made the trip interesting and exhausting.

Eventually, and by that I mean it was about 40 minutes later, the three of us arrived at the beach. You could taste the sea breeze. It didn't feel real to be at the beach. In fact, it felt like that I was in a dream. It felt so secluded and in the middle of nowhere that I could finally be me for a little while.

I got all my clothes off and headed straight for the water, which was cold but invigorating. It was as if I finally found my connection to the world with the way that the water pierced my skin without any boundaries. I felt like I was able to me. I didn't want to get out of the water. Or the beach for that matter. I just wanted to be naked and free for the rest of my life.

Now I will say, the trek back took longer for me as I'm wasn't and still not the fittest person, but I don't regret it. It would have been more of a regret if I hadn't gone in the first place.

But that was my first time to a Nude Beach. Have you ever been? I would like to know your experiences.
